Megan works with patients in Portland and across the country that want answers to why they don’t feel well. She works to help them identify underlying biochemical imbalances and critical physiological factors that are negatively affecting their health. Using a "fix what you find" method, Megan combines an extensive health intake with each patient alongside comprehensive laboratory testing to improve immune function, reduce inflammatory factors, optimize metabolic function and reverse symptoms and disease risk. Megan uses nutrition and lifestyle medicine therapeutically to individualize treatment for each patient's unique needs.
Prompted by a desire to reverse her own autoimmune disease, Megan earned her bachelor’s of science in dietetics at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She went on to earn her master’s degree in human nutrition and functional medicine at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Megan practices an evidence-based healthcare approach, relying heavily on medical research and clinical experience to shape her approach to practicing functional medicine.
